Car hire

Hiring a car on holiday gives you the ultimate flexibility. Come and go as you please and explore areas that are off the beaten track.

Many of our villas are in locations where a hire car would be preferable. This is indicated on the individual villa pages.

During the checkout process, we can provide you with a wide array of car hire options, wherever your holiday might be.

Airport transfers

If you’re not hiring a car, or only wish to hire a car for part of your holiday, you’ll need to get to and from the airport to your villa, and vice versa. With a pre-booked private transfer, you’ll be greeted at arrivals and bypass the taxi queue. You’ll be beside the pool enjoying the sun in no time.

Book your airport transfers at the same time as booking your holiday so you know it’s all sorted. We offer a competitively priced private taxi option from the airport to your villa. All the taxi drivers speak English, there is 24/7 support available, and the driver will monitor your flight arrival time, ensuring they are waiting for you once you land.

Travel insurance

Travel insurance is a vital extra. It doesn’t just provide you with protection in case of a medical emergency, but you’ll have cover in place for cancellation, your luggage, and much more. It’s part of the SPL Villas booking conditions that each member of your party is covered by a travel insurance policy and that you take the details with you on holiday. If you don’t already have travel insurance, we can arrange that for you at the time of booking, giving you peace of mind when you travel.

Hire a local private chef

Part of the fun of a villa holiday can be exploring the local markets and finding local produce to enjoy back at your villa, dining whenever suits you. But sometimes when you’re on holiday you just don’t fancy cooking. Why not hire a local chef to come to your villa, rustle up a delicious meal and take care of everything including the washing up? We offer that very service through one of our partners, so sit back, enjoy a glass of wine, and let them prepare everything for you. Available on bookings in Italy, Portugal and Spain, the chefs will take care of everything for you from start to finish.
